We came for a week. We're still here. At some point between the 6am surfs and the cold Pilseners at sunset, it became obvious that this stretch of coast needed a better directory than a four-year-old TripAdvisor page.
El Tunco, El Zonte, El Sunzal — these are real places with real communities. The good restaurants aren't on Google Maps. The best surf school doesn't run ads. The cheapest hostel bed isn't on Booking.com. Local knowledge lives in WhatsApp groups and word of mouth, and if you don't know anyone, you miss most of what makes this coast worth visiting.
So we built SurfCity.sv — a proper directory for the Salvadoran surf coast, maintained by people who actually live here. Honest listings, real info, no paid rankings disguised as reviews.
